The story of Lazer Warz begins with Intel.
After several years of working at Intel, Scott was burnt out and looking for a different path. He started studying personal finance after getting out of debt and ended up taking counselor training with Dave Ramsey. He also started studying for taking the Certified Financial Planner test.
In November 2012, Scott left Intel to pursue Financial Planning and finalizing his preparation for becoming a Certified Financial Planner. During a break in study, he ran across a Video Game Truck franchise while reading Entrepreneur magazine.
He started to research the idea, and discovered the cost of entry was too high. But in the process he ran across laser tag equipment that would work for a mobile laser tag parties. The cost was reasonable, so he purchased the equipment and began Lazer Warz as a mobile laser tag company in 2013 delivering a tactical laser tag party to groups across the Portland metro area.
After running as a mobile company for 2 1/2 years, a new opportunity began to emerge.
In the Summer of 2015 the only laser tag facility in Vancouver, WA closed and shortly afterwards, he started getting calls for people wanting to come to his facility. Out of that our physical location wBas born and opened in March 2016.
The story is one of opportunities opening up, a little bit at a time and taking us in directions we never imagined just 4 years ago. This makes us extremely excited to see what opportunities arise in the future.
